Hey 0.6.1.0 is using a new water library which sounds like it may not be compatible with your computer's hardware.

Can you attach screenshots and paste your system specs (Operating System, CPU, graphics card, memory, etc)?

Also, the game writes a log file out to: C:\Users<username>\AppData\LocalLow\HydroSim\HydroSim\output_log.txt

Could you also attach the log file?

If that file is missing, the game won't even start, how were you even playing?

You probably need to re-download it. It's possible your browser isn't actually fully re-downloading the file and instead just using a cached version that's corrupted. If you're using internet explorer, you may need to clear the cache.

There's nothing I can do unfortunately, your graphics card does not support Compute Shaders. You could try updating your graphics drivers to see if that helps. Other, than that you'd need to upgrade your graphics card.

Crest uses compute shaders to generate waves. I'm also using compute shaders to generate boat wakes.

This would also explain why you weren't seeing roostertails / wakes previously.

Probably not what you wanted to hear.

@tjz5151 I put some recommendations in here: http://www.uhlhydroplanes.com/topic/198/what-are-the-system-requirements

That is for newer desktops, I'm not sure about laptop graphics cards or if you can even swap them out.

If you have an older desktop, the graphics cards listed in that thread might not work for you.
