@jseven27 Click on the button on the top left of the screen that looks like a speedometer. Then to start the boat you have to press and hold the "I" key. You can remap the ignition to any button you want in the settings menu.

RE: Boat Designer request
I'd love to help you out. I've created several of the custom boats that people will be running in our next season. You can DM here or on discord and we can talk more about what you're looking for.

RE: HydroSim Paint Scheme Dropbox
@gavin-mcclure You have to make separate Hull, Cowling, and Cockpit files for a metallic or matte effect; Hull_met, Cowling_met, and Cockpit_met. Any area that you want to be chrome, make it white, and for areas that you want matte, make it black. You can use various shades of gray to achieve different levels of shine. The lighter it is, the shinier it will be, the darker it is, the more matte it will be. Then you have to save the metallic files as a different kind of DDS file (DXT5).You can message me on Discord if you need help

RE: Dead boat list?
I only have 2 Matt Johnson Design boats and the 2020 one is probably the only one I'll use from now on.

RE: HydroSim Paint Scheme Dropbox
@aidyj88 I believe those are all paint schemes that were originally created for HydroMod and the salt water scoop was included in that game. Currently we don't have a salt water scoop in HydroSim but I'm sure it will get added eventually. The scoops themselves are just extensions to the air intake on the cowling that they generally only use during salt water races (like San Diego) to help keep the salt water out of the engine.

RE: HydroSim Alpha v0.6.0.4
@aidyj88 Just click "Download HydroSim" above. New updates come in the form of completely new downloads instead of updating the game that you have currently installed. After you download this one you can delete the old version (v0.5.5.0). But before you delete the old version, I would copy all the files from the Teams folder and paste them into the Teams folder of the new version or else you'll have to download all of the paint schemes again.

RE: SNHL Season 2
@HydroLuce Lanes are set at the entrance pin to turn 2 leading up to the start. So from there until the start/finish line you have to hold your lane. Any other time you can leap frog as long as you have a roostertail lead.

RE: Does anyone play on keyboard
Yeah keyboard is definitely a challenge with this game. I know a lot of us use a racing wheel like a Logitech G29 or G920. If you don't want to spend that much money though I would suggest at least getting a controller (Xbox or PS4). Canard control is key in this game to going fast and a wheel or controller will give you much better control of it than the keyboard will.
As for the buoys;
Orange/Green = inside of the course
Yellow = entrance and exit of turns
White = outside of the course
White with checkers = Start/Finish line -
RE: SNHL Season 2
@HydroLuce Definitely not too late to join! I have to ask, are you in any way related to Brad Luce?

RE: Ideas for future additions
I know right now your spawn position is just determined by when you join the server (or at least I'm pretty sure it is) but it would be cool, once cranes and trailers are added, if you could choose your spot in the pits when you join the server.

RE: Logitech G920 Setup
@kylebipes You should be able to just double click on the input that you want to change and then press the pedal/button/turn the wheel to assign that action to the input. For example, if you want to map the throttle to the gas pedal, double click on the Throttle input and then press the gas pedal. It should say Joystick 1 axis 1 after you do that.

RE: Logitech G920 Setup
Here's what I have setup with my G920 for the game's input settings:
Throttle - Joystick 1 axis 1 (gas pedal)
Rudder - Joystick 1 axis 0 (turning the wheel)
Horizontal - Joystick 1 axis 0
Vertical - Joystick 1 axis 4 (I'm honestly not sure what this axis is so you may not need to change it)
Canard - Joystick 1 axis 3 (clutch pedal)
LookLeft - joystick 1 button 5 (left paddle "shifter")
LookRight - joystick 1 button 4 (right paddle "shifter")Everything else I just left as-is, including the controls with "(+)" and "(-)"
